Does your Earth Leakage Meter look like this?

After many other electricians went looking for this fault I was called in to look for the problem for my customer. It took a bit of time to find, with specialist testers with various testing methods I managed to prevent having to replace a 300ft cable through the ships voids.

Used multiple testers to find a small 3mm hole in a 300ft cable

Cut into the outer sheath to investigate further.

Cut a bit further into the cable and found a damaged phase.

Cut out the damage and replaced the section.

Set up an underground cable joint kit.

Resin filled the joint kit to give a permanent repair.
